The bbPress plugin for WordPress uses custom post types for data storage, and as a result makes it tricky to show posts of various restricted post types on the front-end of a website through the theme. Administrators and moderators should still be able to see spammed and trashed topics if they choose to, just like the stand-alone version of bbPress currently allows them to do.
