Create a blog entry about the port of MarbleLegendBrowser from QTextBrowser to QWebView

completed by: Illya Kovalevskyy

mentors: Torsten Rahn, René Küttner, Dennis Nienhüser

In this task you should present the newly ported MarbleLegendBrowser to the blogosphere outside.

After quickly introducing yourself you should blog about what the legend is and how it looks like for different themes (ideally including 2 screenshots: one of  some nice maptheme like the Earth at Night 2012 and the other e.g. of Thomas Harriot's old historic Moon drawing map legend:

http://files.kde.org/marble/newstuff/maps/harriot1609-marblemap.zip

Make sure that checkboxes, description and a photo are visible on the screenshot.

The blog should explain the capabilities of the legendbrowser in Marble.

It should explain that the QTextBrowser which got used before only had limited html capabilities. Then you should explain what advantages the usage of QWebkit has and how this will benefit the user (CSS, real checkboxes, better graphics, etc).

You should tell a bit about the challenges that it has taken to develop this featur yourself. Also you should tell what features are still planned and when this functionality  will be released to the users.

The whole blog entry should contain at least 3 screenshots - but not more than 5.

Before you start blogging your blog should be aggregated to www.planetkde.org and planet.osgeo.org
