The action=tokens API is currently basically not documented anywhere. API documentation still recommends the old method of getting tokens, e.g. API:Edit#Token.

The documentation should be created as API:Tokens page on MediaWiki.org, using a structure similar to other API documentation pages, and linked in:

• the list of API documentation pages
• any documentation page for an API part that uses tokens, e.g. API:Edit#Token mentioned above and others (can be found via wiki search)
